jetfloat overview
why is jetfloat right for you?
SD&P is one of the largest distributors of Jetfloat modular dock products in the world. Oh, let's not for about the Caribbean...we have clients there, too!
Jetfloat was the world’s first modular dock product, created in 1976. All of the other modular docks and lifts on the market today owe their beginnings to Jetfloat. Jetfloat has mastered the use of modular dock cubes to create an infinite number of docking solutions ranging from simple floating docks to helipads, aquaculture pens, drive-on boat lifts, and even temporary bridges.

Jetfloat Lifts
Southeastern Dock & Platform: We are The Boat Float company. Our Jetfloat drive on boat lifts provide boat owners with the ultimate in convenience and security. At SD&P we don't sell "packaged" lifts or drop ship them to your location for you to figure out how they go together or get installed. Instead, we customize each dock for each particular application and offer delivery and installation services thus leaving you with more time to enjoy the water.
Using Jetfloat modular components, we can design drive on lift systems for single or multiple vessels. Jetfloat drive on lifts are ideal for many vessels to 22 feet. For longer or heavier boats we recommend our Safe Haven line of products. As each boat is different, we invite you to contact one of our authorized designers to see what the best solution may be for your particular boat.
We have developed the world’s first and best drive on Boat Float for flat bottom skiffs such as boats by Carolina Skiff or Jones Brothers Bateau. Our skiff docks are also perfect for small catamarans and modified vee hulled boats such as older McKee Crafts.
Our docks are designed with our customer's best interests in mind. We only provide the simplest solution that will not only safely and effectively protect your boat, but also meet your specfic needs. We will always offer you the best and least expensive solution and will never push unnecessary and expensive accessories such as winches and launch assist systems unless if you specifically require them.
From the smallest skiff moored in a tidal creek to a bay-front marina that is home to a fleet of runabouts, we invite you to learn why Jetfloat lifts by SD&P are the best lifts for your boating budget.

Jetfloat Wave breaks
Docks in most marine environments are subject to tremendous forces. But in high traffic locations such as along the ICW, or in open areas like sounds and bays that are susceptible to extreme wind and wave actions, docks take a real beating. Property owners with traditional wooden buffer docks and wave breaks in these locations often find themselves collared with continuous maintenance and repair requirements to keep their docks functional.
Using our customized approach to docking solutions and some proprietary engineering, Boat Float is now offering what could be the most durable floating buffer dock on the market today.
When designed and installed specifically as wave breaks our platforms made from Jetfloat modular units are heavy enough to effectively reduce wake and wave action, yet are flexible enough to roll and give with the water’s action. The result is a dock that is capable of counteracting the shock forces that wreak havoc on conventional wooden docks.
Imagine a buffer dock that doesn’t require constant maintenance. Contact us to review your particular needs.

About Jetfloat
Why Jetfloat? Jetfloat invented the modular dock, for one. For over 30 years, Jetfloats have been tried and tested from Alaska to Kuwait. Time has proven their quality for use at cottages, marinas, aquaculture, float-plane-facilities, rowing, barging, work-platforms, jet-ports, dry-docking and more. What about the other guys out there offering modular docks? They all got their start by copying the Jetfloat design. Jetfloat invented the design and has mastered its simplicity ever since.
Jetfloats are single or double modular units made of high density polyethylene. The units can be interlocked to form any floating structure that is desired. Jetfloats are durable, maintenance free, convenient, safe and environmentally friendly.
Other benefits include:
- A dock that can be installed and removed by one person.
- A raft that can be used year after year, with no maintenance required.
- A safe dock that has no nails or hazardous hardware, no sharp corners and a nonskid surface.
